Easy Sudoku for Beginners, 35 Empty Cells

If you've never solved a sudoku before, start here. Only 35 of 81 cells are empty on the easy level, and almost everything solves with one technique: look at an empty cell, check which digits already appear in its row, column, and 3×3 block, and if only one digit is left, that's your answer. For example, if a row already contains eight of the nine possible digits, the ninth goes in without any guesswork, this is called the "naked single" technique, and on the easy level it's usually all you need. A puzzle takes 5 to 15 minutes, perfect for a short break or before bed. Once easy grids stop feeling like a challenge, move up to medium sudoku, where you'll need to hold more than one possible answer in mind at once.
